Shrinking subframe

The donor subframe, teetering in the driveway.
I removed the transaxle and wheels, and this is the remaining suspension. It's in the back of my pickup, and fits there under the canopy. I took it to a friend's house to try to get the axle nuts and trailing arms off with power tools, but neither came off as hoped. A shorter tool is needed for the trailing arm joints, and I decided on a different approach to get the wheel end to detach: just leave the drums on, and keep the torsion springs already on the car. We got the bolts loose on one side's spring plate mount, so I'll repeat that on the other side. I'll just pull the whole arms with brakes off the subframe as two big pieces, and make a brake shop deal with getting the axle nuts off later.
Having the transmission out will actually make putting the engine in place easier, after I get this stuff moved onto the car. Removing the corresponding suspension parts from the mostly-intact car is going to be a pain.
